vCash: 700 | It's difficult to see past Brazil with so many superstars in their team. The Germans must have a shout on home soil while the Dutch were impressive in qualifying. England also must be rated highly but the jury remains out on Eriiksson selection and tactics. Is there method in his madness? France, Spain and Argentina must also be in with a chance. I've just realised thats me covered all the bases!!! Can't wait to it begins especially now we have no competitive football for 3 weeks. I don't think a South American team has ever won the World Cup when it is held in Europe |

vCash: 500 | Just checked the previous winners. The only South American team to win in Europe was....... Brazil. 1958 Sweden and and the new talent of Pele on show. The only team to ever retain the World Cup.... Brazil - 1958 in Sweden then 1962 in Chile. They went on to make it 3 out of 4 in 1970 in Brazil, but other some team won it in 1966. |

vCash: 500 | I beg to differ with the last comment. Some other team did not win the world cup in 1966 because i believe that in that year the competition was cancelled. So there you go, 3 wins in a row for Brazil. |

vCash: 500 | I fancy Brazil mainly due the constant failure of others with potential to fufill that potential at major championships (Spain, Holland -ok they've won a Euro championship but should have more tournets to their name- for example). I just think that with a few teams equal in abilty and similar in tactics used, that Brazil have those players that offer that wee bit of magic to unlock the meanest of defences. All it takes is that bit of genius from someone like the two Ronnies to change a game. Throw in players like Robhino, Adraino etc and its hard to see anyone , inlcuding England, getting close enough to the Brazilians to see the white of their eyes. |

vCash: 500 | Don't really know if the Italians can get it together. in fact with no real form team this could be one of the most exciting and unpredictable world cup's in a long time. Could this be Spain's year finally????????? |

England have a chance, esp if Rooney is fit we should be favourites alongside Brazil. It's not going to be easy but we have a great chance. | |
