Although reports are unconfirmed, reports suggest that the Manchester United striker will certainly travel with the England squad to Germany.

As the nations hold its’ breath, the findings of the report are expected to be released later today and a positive announcement is expected. It seems as though Rooney will be involved in the Finals if England manage to progress out of the group stages.

Rooney’s injury is progressing well and no adverse reaction to treatment has been detected.

Manchester United medical staff are also keen to warn that the youngster will only play if fully fit. They will not allow their prize asset to be risked for short term gain.

England will have until June 9th for which to replace any injured player and will certainly give the talismatic striker every possible chance of joining the squad in Germany.

Looks promising for England & Rooney. Knowing Rooney's attitude he will want to take part in the group stages too.
