well done scotland and Alex Mcleish!!

a 2-1 win for Mcleish's first game against scotland, well done though it got nervy toward the end. Scotland will have to tighten up their defence against Italy nevertheless well done boys!!

Another good result for Scotland , can they qualify ? , it is a very tough group
I saw half of the Lithuania v France game on eurosport & the French were poor and lucky to win , the Italians also seem off there game a bit so who knows.

our finishing was lacking for much of the game, but the work rate was encouraging. too often we play well for the first twenty or thirty minutes, then lose concentration or something and it starts to fall apart.

I dont think the game could have went any better for us. I know for a lot of the game we turned off and let georgia back in. However i think we needed a test, even if it turned out to be more of a test of charactor, b4 the italy game.

if anyone want s to see some confused Scottish fans now is the time, i've got this baffling optimistic feeling that wont go away.

the press are saying that mcleish is starting with miller as a lone striker. personally i would put bhoyd in place of miller at the start. Bhoyd is more of a predator.
