Should we take Rooney to World Cup?

Can England afford to take Rooney to the World Cup after it's been confirmed he can't play till at least the knockout stages?

yeh he's a great player but we have to get through the group stages first and goal difference might come into it as it's really important we top the group.

personally i'd take a proven goalscoer like defoe or AJ. Rooney will have plenty of other tournies to play in

Not sure if you will get through the group stages? Wow, you should coast it with the players at your disposal.

I think that he will add another striker before finalising the team though, someone always pulls out.

i dont think he will make it,and if he did,he wont be fit enough! i feel England will get knocked out in the quarters, and that is the least that rooney can start! great player, but i dont feel time is on his side!

We are not arrogant, god only knows where you guys get this from. I think it may be an inferiority complex, maybe you should speak to someone.

You
