Italy v Scotland

Your thoughts?

Would you play Miller or Boyd as a lone striker or both in a 4-4-2

Should Scotland attack the Italians or sit back ?, would you play Christian Dailly in midfield ?

I think Scotland should follow the example of Celtic in Milan , after all that was 0-0 at 90 mins & that would be a great result for Scotland.

Scotland have always done well against superior teams by attacking them, and not being overawed by the big names. Holland in '78, for example - that was a real world class team and we took them. we can take something from this match, no doubt about it.

bit disappointed at the 2-0 result. we didn't play as well as we could have. i just hope McLiesh explains the offside rule to them at the next training session, and also how to mark people.

also, BBC Scotland gave man of the match to Barry Ferguson, who was mince! Craig Gordon was by far our most valuable player last night, several great saves.

Left it late to put a post in about this but here goes. Zonal marking, dont like it, it doesnt work and Luca tone is a player that will finish if he gets any space. McManus should have been so close to him that luca toni would have been filing an sexual assault claim after the game.

The only other thing is that we should have been more positive and went with 2 up front. Kenny miller could have moved back to right wing should we have needed it. However this is hindsight as i was saying one up front b4 the game. But i dont think teale is good enough at that level.

positives? Scott Brown. Looked the part, never lookjed fazed at all. I also think that despite the goals McManus is now first choice in defense and we should look to start playin maloney out wide.

Ferguson played to level we expect of him as well.
