vCash: 0 | Messi The New Maradona? Simple question really I would have said no..before I watched this video clip.. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...129&q=maradona Now I can't wait to see this player in action... Oh for all of the viewers who believe, like me, Maradona's goal against England in '86 was the greatest of all time...[watch the way the ball bobbles all the way to goal] http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...206&q=maradona Also, anyone remember this? Maradona 'warming' by dancing to the song 'LIFE IS LIFE' for Napoli in the semi final of the UEFA cup? http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...633&q=maradona It is simple, this guy is th greatest player that has ever graced the football pitch. No arguements. Not Pele, not Eusebio, not Best, not Zidane, not Platini, not Beckenbauer, not Ronaldinho and certainly not Rooney. Diego, you are the greatest ![]() Last edited by Legend : 05-27-2006 at 12:50 PM. |

vCash: 500 | There are hundreds of top drawer goals that can't be seperated, but Maradona's is the overall greatest. honestly to run that distance, at speed, with the ball at your feet. that's exceptional skill. that's probably the most difficult thing to do in football. don't talk to me about how the England team opened up and made it easier....what a load of crap ( only a Rangers fan would say something like that with their English allegiences lol), Maradona still had to perform that dribble. |

The world Cup will still be great without them but every neutral fan at least will want all the best players on show. | |
