Murray flattered by Nigeria interest

Wolves goalkeeper Matt Murray admits he is flattered by potential interest in him by the Nigerian national side.

The 25-year-old has featured for England's Under-21 side but may be eligible to play for Nigeria.

"My biological dad is Nigerian but I see myself as English," Murray told his club's website.

"It's flattering because Nigeria are a massive football nation but it's come out of the blue. There has been nothing official and I haven't been called up."

I thought if he has played for the England U 21's then he wouldn't be eligable to play for any other country.
