Don't get me wrong, it's only a friendly, but I don't feel England are technical enough to do damage at the world cup. The play is very British and very predictable, your key men really have to take their chances in the world cup.

On a positive not, you do have great players who would slot in nicely at Brazil, Holland, Italy, France and Argentina etc!

Collectively as a team, the style will not come near to winning the world cup! I also agree erikkson is terrible, he is a yes man, I suppose everybody knows that by the amount of woman he has on the side lmao!

Final score 3-1

Theo became youngest player to make a play for england.

This has been the opinion of Liam Stiles. The Poster boy of Footballtalk.org

yep, he could do well, didn't have any fear. A couple more games and he could do a job for England!

Other good performances, Steve Gerrard, Ashley and Joe Cole. And great deliveries by Beckham. I don't rate him, I never have as a football player, but his dead ball skill is outstanding!

Theo was anonymous, what are you expecting from a kid with no experience??

England players played fine individually but the outlook is bleak to me if he wants to play these tactics in friendlies.

beartons, you should get a job as a pundit. u certainly talk more sense than Alan 'arse licker' Hanson and Ian 'emotionally stunted' Wright. England definitely have a few great players and one world class player in Steven Gerrard, but collectively they are ponderous and predictable. they made heavy weather , all be it a friendly, of a mediocre team.

as a team they're very one dimensional.

Still can't get over the selection by Eriksson. He must be related to Hargreaves. As for one up front...ONLY works with Rooney.

On this form England won't concede any goals but should score plenty at set pieces. Beckham delivery the difference tonight.
