Eriksson Predicts Successful Summer

England today line up against Jamaica in what will be Sven’s last game in charge of England on home soil.

However Eriksson also knows that if he is to leave in legendary status then he and his team must bring the World Cup trophy back to England.

He said: "I think the best is still to come. I hope I will be remembered for the World Cup 2006. That would be very nice.

"I've always said we have a chance to go all the way. We have fantastic footballers. It's the best squad in five and a half years and the team spirit is better than ever."

He added "I will miss it but five and a half years is a long time. I know I have only eight games to sit on the bench.

"I've enjoyed my time in England. I've been extremely proud to have this job. I will miss it but I haven't thought about it. I've been focused on what to do in the next month."

Yes, he will be remembered for the World Cup 2006, I reckon for a dismal failure with the tactics he is employing.

Nice to see Eriksson has lined himself up a job as a clairvoyant for July.

Ok England have a chance but only that. And its a slim one.

No Homer he has been chatting with God.

And our chances are better than slim. We may look a bit weak up front but we will be difficult to beat.

I reckon Eriksson knows he has the best defence and one of the best midfields. This makes our chances better than average.
