Should we have a football team for the Olympics ?

And if so do we call them Great Britain ? or do we have England , Scotland and Wales ?
I think this would be a good thing for youth players to gain more experience at competition level.

You cannot have an England, Scotland or Wales team at the olympics , they would have to enter as Great Britain.

I think there was a move to have a GB team in 2012 but the Scottish & Welsh FA's both declined to take part , I think they fear that the world may say if you have a GB team in the Olympics then you can have a GB team in all competetions.

I think though there is nothing to stop GB entering a team they would just be entirely English.

under 21s is an established - and for my money better - way to develop youngsters. the Olympics only comes round every four years, whereas the unders play every few months.

No football at the Olympic Games is a farce and is only there for the money that th IOC can makes from the crowds it attracts.

Permanetly get rid of footbal/soccer at the Olympic Games.

Isn't the reason FIFA was created was because people of the world didn't want the biases and favouritism of the old days when football was under the rule of the Olympics? And that is why there is The World Cup instead?

To have a Great Britain team would be disastrous for Wales & Scotland because nearly all of their players would be up-staged and outshined and the
starting-11 would consist only of English players!!
