Beckham to cry if England Win World Cup

David Beckham admits that if England can win the World Cup in Germany this summer that his emotions may get the better of him.

The England Captain was speaking about his side chances of winning the trophy for the first time since 1966 when Bobby Moore became the only ever Englishman to get his hands on the coveted trophy.

Beckham said “It would be incredible and I know what would happen,"
"I am an emotional person and there's no doubt I would cry. It's made many captains cry over many years and many World Cups.

"Winning trophies is always an emotional moment and the World Cup is the biggest trophy of them all and will be the biggest thrill.

"As a kid, I always dreamed of playing for Manchester United and for my country, being captain of my country and winning trophies.

"And I am so lucky that I have been able to do all of those things - except winning something with my country, so that would really top it off for me."

He said this about how his team must play "If you don't start off well, it puts still more pressure on you, but hopefully we can put that right," he added.

"I don't think the games are going to be as easy as people think. Paraguay are going to
be very tough to come up against straight off.

"And each team in the group has players with the potential to upset us, so it is vitally important we get a good start."

So should he just cry now and get it over with and stop him from spoiling the event?

The main reason I tune in every 4 years is to see English men cry. Come on Beckham!! (and the ensuing piss-up in the Glasgow night-clubs!)
