vCash: 500 | Cisse Out Of World Cup Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has been ruled out of the World Cup after fracturing his right tibia in France’s 3-1 friendly victory against China. Cisse collapsed in agony after a collision with China captain Zhi Zheng in the 11th minute of the match in St Etienne. After lying flat out for several minutes the striker was eventually str3etchered of with his leg in a splint. France coach Raymond Domenech said: “ Cisse went straight to the hospital where he is currently being operated on. He has an open fracture of the tibia.” |
