vCash: 500 | England Expect Gerrard to Face Paraguay England are confident that Liverpool skipper will be fit for their World Cup Group B opener against Paraguay in Frankfurt on Saturday. Gerrard missed his team’s last training session Baden-Baden after a stiff back forced him to curtail his involvement in the previous day’s session. However, Eriksson expects the Liverpool midfielder to be fully fit for Saturday. An FA spokesman said: “ The fact Steven is not in training is purely precautionary and we would expect him to be ready fro the game on Saturday.” |
