Rooney

word on the street is that Rooney will come on as a sub against Trinidad.
Too soon or worth the risk?

Crazy if you ask me.

He should start the same 11 and if they are winning theres no need for Rooney. The T&T defenders like a tackle and it will be no different. He should give him 30 mins against Sweden because they will probably will have qualified by then anyway.

have to agree. rushing him back is risky especially if a new injury prevents him from participating in the latter stages (assuming they qualify of course lol).
also, rushing hime back doesn't exactly send out a confident message to the rest of the squad. It's almost admitting they can't do anything without him
