Rooney Declared Fit To Face Trinidad and Tobago

Independent medical advisers have passed Wayne Rooney fit to face Trinidad and Tobago.

The 20-year-old striker was examined by Professors Angus Wallace and Chris Morgan of the Queen’s Medical centre in Nottingham.

In a joint statement, both professors said: “ Wayne’s recovery has been more rapid than expected over the past week. This is due to the excellent care he has received since suffering the injury to his foot and because Wayne has worked so hard at his recovery.

“Due to this, we were invited back earlier than anticipated to reassess Wayne by Dr Leif Sward, the England team doctor. We are independent experts and would like to make clear that the findings of our evaluation and decision have been made without any pressure from the Football Association.”

The professors also added that Rooney’s fitness levels were better now than they were before Euro 2004. Rooney has been in training for the past week and is now expected to play some part in the match against Trinidad and Tobago.

Sven's crazy if he plays him.

It will show how confident he is in his team if he plays rooney.

Only way he should play is if England are getting beat with 20 mins to go.

The T&T defenders will test his injury and more today, they'll be well up for it. Owen will have to be careful too.

This could be the game that ends or starts Englands dream of the world cup.

All because the lady loves......

the silence from Old Trafford is deafening, I have a feeling that Ferguson is just waiting until Sven plays Rooney to plant him firmly in it.

Here is a man that is leaving, his best player just recovered from a broken foot and been advised by doctors not to play, who will recieve a huge bonus and lifetime celebrity appearances if he wins the world cup.

Does anyone else believe that he does not care about the players welfare or the trouble the FA get into and he is only motivated by financial gain?
