Indonesia has named its squad for nextmonth's Asia cup, with coach Ivan Kolev forced to leave out two key strikers because of injuries.

Boaz Salossa, the national league top scorer, broke his ankle last month, while Saktiawan Sinaga failed a late fitness test, the Asian Football Confederation said on its web site.

The absences deal a blow to the chances of Kolev's side, with much now resting on veteran goal scorers Bambang Pamungkas and Ellie Aiboy. Both men played under Kolev when Indonesia reached the final of Southeast Asia's Tiger Cup competition in 2002.

Indonesia, which is co-hosting the July 7-29 Asian Cup, shares Group D with favorite South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Only two teams will progress to the knockout phase of the competition. ---
