vCash: 480 | Saunders ready for Wales JOHN TOSHACK is poised to spring a surprise by unveiling Welsh legend Dean Saunders as a key new member of his backroom team. The Wales boss is thought to be ready to swoop to bring Saunders on board as coach after losing his trusted Spanish lieutenant Salva Iriarte. Toshack, it appears, has conceded defeat in his hopes that Iriarte could combine his Wales duties with his new full-time job as sporting director at Real Sociedad. We understand that Toshack has spoken to Saunders about replacing Iriarte and joining up with Wales. Senior FAW officials have been made aware of the plan. |
