vCash: 500 | Lucas Neil said Australia will strive to remain unbeaten and win Asian Cup However Australia managed to beat Thailand only and had a draw with Oman. They lost to Iraq and Japan and had early exit. Australia definitely underestimated Asian football. It's not the coach fault. Players lacked creativity and teamwork was horrible. I guess it would be better Australia go back to OFC if they want easier path to World Cup. |

vCash: 379 | How many Asian teams qualify for the world cup these days? I think you are right that the Aussies underestimated Asian football As I understand it the reason they wanted to switch to the Asia federation was to make world cup qualification easier as the Oceania champions have to play a play off game against a South American team to qualify. |
