Adriano banned for diving

Inter's Brazilian foward Adriano was suspended for 2 matches for simulation at a disciplinary hearing today , Adriano won a 52nd minute penalty during Inter's game with Roma yesterday , the dicsiplinary commission decided he had dived and bannned him for 2 matches

I'm pleasently suprised by this news I have never heard of video evidence being used to convict a player of diving in this way before but hopefully a few more cases like this and players may think twice in the future.

Inter are sure to appeal the ruling.

could this be Italian FA starting a backlash in an attempt to clean up the game in Italy?
