Inter seal title

Inter overcame the disappointment of losing their unbeaten record in mid-week to clinch the serie A title today.

They beat Sienna 2-1 whilst Roma lost to Atalanta by the same scoreline leaving the Nerrazuri 17 points clear with just 5 games to go.

Milan meanwhile are closing in on 3rd place , they beat Cagliari 3-1 on saturday night and are now just 1 point behind Lazio who lost 1-0 at home to Fiorentina.

Many think this is a devalued scudetto due to Juventus being relegated and Milan starting the season with a points deduction , but I think that is unfair on Inter whose record this season so far played 33, won 26, Drawn 6, Lost 1 , is impressive in any league in any circumstances.

Inter have done well and had a good season but I still find it difficult to take seriously with all last summers going-ons. I think next season will be when we see if they are a truely great side.

I reckon the only reason Milan have made a comeback is because they signed Ronaldo and has been terrific in setting goals up and scoring himself I truly believe he is fast becoming one of Milans most important assets

no, i think they were on the up before that transfer, plus you can't put the Champions League form on Ronaldo. his presence in the team definitely helped in Serie A though.
