Who will go down ?

2 games left in serie A , as we know it's all been over at the top for ages but there is a fascinating relegation battle raging at the other end of the table.

Ascoli & Messina are already relegated but above them there are 8 teams seperated by just 3 points so anyone up to & including Livorno in 11th place could yet go down

The table from 11th to 18th reads like this

11th Livorno 39 pts, 12th Torino 39, 13th Catania 38, 14th Parma 38, 15th Siena 37, 16th Cagliari 37, 17th Chievo 36, 18th Reggina 36.

Just 1 game to go still anyone of 8 teams could still face relegation theoretically

These are the fixtures envolving those in danger

Ascoli v Cagliari
Catania v Chievo
Inter v Torino
Livorno v Atalanta
Parma v Empoli
Reggina v Milan
Siena v Lazio

I think Siena will probably lose to Lazio and be relegated , if they manage to get a point then Reggina who are playing Milan are in the most danger .

Then again maybe just a few days after the CL final will be a good time to play Milan , if Siena & Reggina both win then I think however loses the Catania v Chievo game will go down unless Parma lose , it's very tight .

Catania were competing for a european place before they had that crowd trouble with Palermo but have suffered badly since , playing all their home matches on neutrasl grounds hasn't helped.

I don't know the permetations but I think

Torino, Livorno, Reggina and Siena will lose

Catania will win

Ascoli and Cagilari & Parma and Empoli will draw

Chievo were relegated after losing 2-0 to fellow strugglers Catania

Sienna & Reggina both pulled off unlikely wins to survive , Sienna beat Lazio 2-1 whilst Reggina won 2-0 against european champions Milan , Torino survived by a point despite going down 3-0 to Inter.
