vCash: 500 | yeh, they've never been too good at the old geography, the Yanks. Can't say i would go out my road to watch it. If there is one Yank sport i'd watch it's American Football (although don't get me started on the old football part and for that matter soccer and football ) Bloody yanks ![]() |

Ill be watching, I like baseball fine, its an entertaining sport, alot of thinking involved. Its called the World Series becuase there are soem Canadian teams...go figure. I hope the tigers will win they haven't won in so long...but neither have the Cards. Its a bit lilke the world cup...everyoen thought the final would be between Brazil ad Argentina and there it was Italy and France. I thought it would be Yanks and Mets for sure judging by the regular season, but thats what the playoffs are for...if the best team or mst likely team always won then we would stop having playoffs wouldn't we. | |

vCash: 379 | Sorry Detroit Tigers , the Lions are in the NFL a slip of the tongue as it were. I'm backing the Cards as they are National league champions and the world series has been dominated by the American league in rececnt years , though unfortunately I cant watch it. I take your point about a few Canadians but it hardly makes it a World Series. Anyway there's no Canadian teams in the NFL but they still call the Superbowl winners "world champions". |

vCash: 379 | Almost forgot to mention the Cardinals won game 5 by 4-2 to take the series 4-1 and win their 10th world series. It's a big boost for the National league as the rival American league have been having things pretty much their own way in recent years. |
