vCash: 500 | The NFL Thread Were now down to the business side of the season in the NFL. We have had a few shocks so far this year. Firstly the Colts defence have shown how shakey they are against the run. The Saints have shocked us all by not only getting into this part of the season but also doing so well they get a Bye to the next round. They are now only a two wins away from the Super Bowl. Ed's (Misterpeng) team (Denver Broncoes) failed to get to the post season. Which i shall be teasing him about tomorrow. My team (New England Patriots) have looked decent so far, Recieving has been our weakness. But as always Tom Brady has been amazing. The guy is just my god. Last night we saw the Seattle Seahawks beat the Dallas Cowboys and the Colts beating the Kansas City cheifs putting those two teams through. From the AFC we have the San Diego Chargers and Baltimore Ravens recieve Byes. With either The Patriots or NY Jets joining them. (As we speak New England are 7-0 up after 13minutes of the first quaters) In the NFC the Saints and Chicago Bears recieving Byes. Last nights results saw Seattle join them and either Philly Eagles or NY Giants joining them. They play tonight. So whats your take or the season so far. And who is going to the Superbowl? |

vCash: 379 | I like a lot of people had a brief flirtation with American Football in the 80's I followed the Chicago Bears I remember William "the fridge" Perry leading them to the sperbowl but they have been rubbish ever since. This has been their best season for years although I did see they were thrashed by Green Bay last week though hopefully they were taking it easy as they had already qualified for the play-offs. |

vCash: 379 | I agree thats why I gave up watching it, a highlights package is good to watch but I couldn't watch a whole game live just too many stoppages. |

vCash: 500 | As my beloved Broncos couldnt get the results to go through ! I think the final may include the bears and the patriots!! though i cant see the colts losing!! Should be good whatever the outcome!! Yes the referees in football (english) should wear mic's, though they do at the moment but only to talk to the other officials (which is a good start!!). |

vCash: 379 | Chicago Bears 27-24 Seattle Seahawks (ot) The Bears beat the Seahawks in overtime and will meet the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship match. Incidentaly in the 80's the NFC champions always won the superbowl now it's the AFC , guess it's ciclical. |

vCash: 500 | PATRIOTS!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!! WOWOWOWOWOWOW I cant believe we beat the Chargers. What a game. Heart was in my mouth all the match. When we conceded two touchdowns in the first half i thought we was in trouble. But we got a touchdown right before the half and i think that helped us. 21-24 victory to New England. Wow!!!! |
