vCash: 379 | Australia hammered South Africa by 7 wickets SA were bowled out for just 149 , I'm actualy suprised that Australia lost 3 wickets before reaching their target. Glenn McGrath now holds the record for most wickets in a single world cup (25) as well as the record for the most world cup wickets in total (70) talk about going out with a bang. |

vCash: 465 | it will take a miracle to beat australia, they just seem to pull young players out their national teams and they all perform better than most teams first choice players in fact the only team sport they don't seem to excell in is the beautiful game thank the lord |

vCash: 379 | A brilliant innings of 149 by Adam Gilchrist won the world cup for Australia despite a valliant effort by Sri Lanka. The Aussies made 281 for 4 off 38 overs in a rain effected match , the Sri Lankans never looked like getting the runs and eventualy fell 53 short. The Australians have been absolutely awesome in this tournament , head and shoulders above the rest , I think they may just as well as given them the trophy 7 weeks ago and saved us all a lot of time and trouble. Seriously though this tournament was way too long and something must be done to shorten it next time , and maybe the Aussies should be made to wear lead in their boots or bat with one arm tied behind their backs . |
