vCash: 480 | Aberdeen held by St Mirren An 86th-minute goal from defender Kirk Broadfoot gave St Mirren a deserved share of the spoils against Aberdeen in their Bank of Scotland Premier League match at Love Street. Just after the half hour mark Dons striker Stevie Crawford pounced on a slack backpass, ironically by Broadfoot, to give the visitors a lead which was slightly against the run of play. The Paisley side rarely threatened after the break but with four minutes remaining the Scotland Under-21 player made up for his mistake when he drove home the equaliser from just inside the Aberdeen penalty area. It was probably the least the home side deserved for their efforts in what was a compelling encounter. |
