Sure cant figure that one out, unless Strachan is manouvering some kind of ploy, to try and appease those fans that want him out?
Lennon is a staunch red heided Celtic man no doubt about that, however I believe he has a short fuse, and coupled with red heided Strachans short fuse, its dynamite waiting to explode along with a volcano waiting to erupt.
No offense to red heided people or both of them for that matter, but thats how I see it?
I could be wrong, we shall see?

that could provide the motivation Celtic need right now - the threat of Neil Lennon kicking the **** out of them if they don't get the finger out.

i was assumed strachan had gone as he was mentioned only in joining up with the coaching staff and the assistant manager, maybe there hoping for the roy keane effect and are planning to replace strachan with an inexperienced manager so there can be no complaints by the fans if rangers have a long peroid of dominance.

Well as I said we shall see, but I can assure you as a fitba player, Lennon was NO Roy Keane!

of course but he is from the same mould as him and he is highly regarded by the celtic fans, so could be a stop gap to see if he can help celtic win the title as they have been poor this season, how many points are they behind rangers is it still five? and i guess that's five to much for the fans

Six points, and Rangers have a game in hand. They both play Wednesday against each other at Celtic Park.

at least rangers were held today a bit suprised but it seems the gap between the old firm and the rest is slowly closing, as there have been somesuprise results imo not least celtic's defeat especially at home, has strachan lost the dressing room and has got lennon in as his enforcer.

i don't think it's really that he's lost the dressing room, but that he's not got a decent grasp of tactics and team selection.
