vCash: 500 | No to Hampden It may be the spiritual home of Scottish football, but Hampden lacks the oppressive atmoshphere of Celtic Park, Ibrox and even Tyncastle. I'd love to see Scotland's remaining home qualifiers played away from Hampden to give us the best possible chance of winning our home games. |

vCash: 726 | i was at a Scotland game at Hampden last year and the atmosphere was pretty good. but that's only because of the Tartan Army, who can create an atmosphere anywhere. apart from the thousands of Scotland supporters in the crowd, the place wasn't much to speak of. |

vCash: 500 | they should've levelled Hampden and started again. I've fond memories of Hampden when it was mainly terracing but there no room for sentiment. The stands behind the goals are too far away and it just isn't intimidating and that should be the aim. 60,000 Tartan Army foot soldiers are louder at Parkhead than Hampden. A full house at Parkhead or Ibrox will scare the you know what out of the opposition |

vCash: 500 | I agree that they totally messed up with hampden. They should have tried to get proper funding in order to create a stadium that we could have been proud of and which would have been condusive to a good atmosphere at a game. The prime example would be the millenium stadium. Personally i would like to see scotland games played at Murreyfield. Its in the countries capital, its easier to get to for all scotland fans and holds over 60.000. Anytime hearts have pllayed there it looked like a good atmosphere and they only had it half full. But lets be honest, we could play games in victia park and the tartan army wold still have the place rocking. |

vCash: 500 | Murrayfield is another great stadium where the fans are almost ontop of the pitch, which makes for a great atmosphere. Sadly, the SFA won't move the upcoming home games as they are idiots |

vCash: 500 | They have been this stupid for years. They played qualifiers in different grounds aroundthe country a few years back and it worked better. For the smaller games using the likes of Tyncastle, Rugby Park and Easter Rd was brilliant. But as soon as Hampden was finished they put a stop to it insisting that all Scotland games no matter who they are against or how small the crowd would be should be played at Hampden. |

vCash: 500 | The SFA have boxed themselves in now and can't move games away from Hampden as it would be a public admission that they ballsed up with their refurb of Hampden. Level it and start again. I hope there ends up a groundswell of opinion for moving the France game to Parkhead., Atmosphere would be electric. |

" I agree totally! "Hampden Park is allegedlly a national disgrace" Poorly built Expensive Unneeded as we have Ibrox Stadium, Celtic Park and Murrayfield Stadium which are all better stadia and can stage anything Hampend Park Stadium can stage. |

vCash: 500 | It has played host to some great games but it was rushed. I did a project for college where i got to interview a bunch of people within Hampden and was aloud to go in the investers section. This is where the real money was spent. The inside is glorius. Marble everywhere. shows you whats more important. |

vCash: 500 | yeh but as Stevens said, it lacks the oppresive atmosphere of Ibrox and especially Parkhead, due to the running track around the pitch. When behind the goals you need bloody binoculars to see the action plus the gradient is too shallow for seats as it was designed for terracing. They should have bulldozed it down and started again. It is an ireevelance of a stadium as there are three other Scottish stadia that are far superior. the money spent on it should have been invested in grass roots football |

vCash: 500 | .i thought we did that 1977, when we took most of Wembley home after our amazing 2-1 victory. Seriously though, it had the same problem as Hampden with the stands behind the goals too far away from the pitch. new stadium looks a lot better though. |

vCash: 500 | the SFA should be ashamed of themselves......again. The Welsh are a good example. They needed a new national stadium...they got the Milenium stadium. We Scots needed a new stadium...they biult one new stand for the suits covered the WHOLE staium with a roof (ooooooh) and put seats on 100 year old steps. yeh a stadium to be proud of. New petition .....let's hand the SFA, or is that too good for these leaaches!!! |

vCash: 726 | no, not permanently. it should be redeveloped into a stadium Scotland can be proud of. meanwhile, the home games should be alternated between Murrayfield, Parkhead and Castle Greyskull. Firhill for the Under-21 games. |

vCash: 500 | No to Hampden Scotland can't afford, justify or need Hampden Park. We need the resources on proper youth development not on a stupid stadium (to tackle obesety in Scoland and ocupy constructivly idol ypouth to prevent them committing crime/anti-social behaviour). Another Murray Prk but this time in Edinburgh please. Allegedlly if Medowbank Stadium is sold for proper value that could raise £40 MILLION THAT could go towards youth development. Most stadium are a waste of time money and space (empty most the week). Ground share, stupid! |
