Le Guen Honeymoon Over?

With Rangers' defeat at the hands of Hibs yesterday and the poor run of form up till then, it seems as that Paul Le Guen's honeymoon 'grace' period could be over in the eyes of Rangers' fans.

With a tricky away CIS cup match midweek and difficult trip to Celtic Park on Saturday, Rangers could be out of one cup and 8 points behind Celtic if they lose on Saturday.

If they fail to win either of these games will Rangers' fans patience wear out or are they in for the long haul?

they were expecting this guy to come and win everything in sight. what they will be realising now (well some of them, got to take into account that most of these guys are still doing cave paintings and hitting thier woman over the head with big clubs) is that they are going to maybe put up with maybe a season or two b4 they are serious title contenders again. Thier perfomrance against Molde was abismal and from i hear Hibs bossed the game for 70 minutes of it.

Thier best hope for competing this year is that maybe Celtic will suffer from thier CL matches.

Rangers fans will not be happy about that. They demand that their team is successful in its' own right, not due to Celtic being distracted elsewhere.

Not at all, but they will demand changes.

I watched the CIS cup game between Dunfermline and Rangers last night and they showed signs of improvement in their play in the second half. With Kris Boyd scoring a great goal.

If they lose to Celtic but give a performance then I reckon Rangers' fans will give Le Guen time, but if they don't compete well then he could already have his card marked by many of them.
