Kennedy To Make Comeback

You may have never heard of him before but Celtic's John Kennedy is finally ready to make his comeback after 2.5 years out injured.

For those who have never heard of the young man before, he is a centre back, 23 years old and hailed as one of the best defenders Scotland had produced in many years until his tragic injury while making his full Scotland debut against Romania. Injured in a ruthless 'assault' by Wolves' Iaon Ganea, for which he has never apologised.

I just hope he has not lost any of his pace or talent.

great news. Kennedy is so talented that before his injury he already was considered an accomplished defender rather than a talented prospect. As for that rat Ganea, he suffered a similar injury himself months later. Karma eh? However, as far as receiving punishment for what was a horrendous assault on Kennedy, the powers that be did what they do best......nothing.
Ironically, Celtic really need Kennedy back in the heart of what is, currently, a shaky defence.

The FORCE will always triumph over the dark side!!!

This is a very, very tricky thing to implement. Who would be the judge and jury?

Regarding Kennedy, nothing happened to his 'tackler' but he did suffer a similar injury some time later.

What goes around comes around.

this is great news for celtic. I know he has been back training but is there anymore news on when we will actually see him playing again.

Remember Kennedy's performance for the hoops when we knocked barcelona out of the uefa cup? a couple of tremendious performances backed up by a truly outstanding goalkeeping performance by david marshall.

Not really, this was only 3/4 seasons ago. Ronaldinho, Eto, Saviola, Guily, Xavi, Puyol, Marquez, Motta and others all played in both games.

We won 1-0 at home, Larsson setting up Thompson and then 0-0 in the Nou Camp.

Kennedy was awesome when he first broke through. Just hope that he hasn't lost anything from his game.
