who now for Rangers job?

who would sons of satan want as their next manager?
current candidates being bounded about are:

Walter Smith
Billy Davies
Terry Butcher
AllY McCoist

Personally, George Graham would do a job and i'm surprised his name hasnt cropped up. However, does he have enough current knowledge about the Scottish game or its players?

They might as well give it to Barry what's the point of signing a manager when one player makes the decisions any way

George Burley might be a good bet, if he fancies leaving Southampton.

of the candidates above, Coisty might be a decent option. popular amongst the huns, knows the Scottish game... why not?

seriously i think the best out there at the moment would be Calderwood or Jeffries the nostalgic old guard route is a dangerous one to go down remember Celtic Macari,Brady,Burns,Dalgleish

i understand what your saying about nostalgia, but in all honesty all they celtic managers were very inexperienced, and have not did much in that sense since! burns is a good coach, but average manager, dalglish never really managed the tic,it was that dumplin barnes!
Walter smith is a very good and experienced manager, and along with mccoist, they will bring back the passion, and i also believe Rangers need a traditional manager, every other manager without a Rangers background have been pants! advocaat had one good year(with shitloads of money) then destroyed them, and Rangers have never really recovered! Mcliesh had next to no money, but had a dignity and a Rangers heart and did well under the circumstances! im delighted smith and mccoist look like taking the job, though id be very happy if he took scotland to at least through the qualifiers and if we make it,the tournament as well!
i doubt we will qualify, though we have did well,so when it goes tits up,the usual backlash will arrive and smith/mccoist will be the scapegoats, they wont qualify with or without them anyway!
