Rangers Full Of Boozers?

It has now emerged that Paul Le Goon could not accept Rangers' players turning up for training suffering from hangovers or smelling of booze. It has now been reported that the captain/manager/coach Barry Ferguson has a drinking problem.

How many more are there at the Evil Empire?

that's hardly news, is it? i mean, Jim Baxter was a heavy drinker 40+ years ago, and he wasn't exactly the first. it's traditional.

yes jim baxter was a heavy drinker and an alcoholic, like jimmy greaves, george best etc, but the players here are not heavy drinkers, thats a load of cobblers, infact they need a good drink, they might play a bit better!

Drinking.

Fecking players getting paid my yearly wage in a week and their moaning about their drink problems. They dont feel the cost of having to pay for the privelidge of getting drunk just to go and watch that crap!

We're all dealing in speculation though. I'm sure players drink just as much as we do as a cross sectiom

Still, you expect a level of responsibility because we are talking about proffessional athletes (proffesional athletes at "them", chortle), and theier should be a level of sacrifice on thier part top make sure that they are at the highest level of fitness that they can.

think you might be giving the journo's a little bit too much credit there. "work"? "think"? "Job"?

yep we've dozens of tabloid reporters up here who make a livng off the backs of the old firm. they certainly have to show more imagination than the average fiction writer as most of it is bollocks. then they have the cheeck to bite the hand that feeds them when they constantly attack the Old Firm and their fans.

The FORCE will always triumph over the dark side!!!
