Larsson no to Celtic

just heard Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwel admiitted he enquired if King Henrik would come back to Celtic, but was politely told no.

They say it never works second time around in football but he would've been an exception

Lawwel is a diddy, he really is.

He knows that there is no way Larsson would come back. This is a stunt that Murray would have made trying to keep the Huns happy.

Larsson is gone, end of. Talking about bringing him back will just depress the support.

On a side note though, I am still pissed at Lawwel for allowing McNamara to leave the way he did. It would have been better to keep Jackie than sign the two duds Telfer and Camara.

He's Simply The Best, Better Than All The Rest. La la la la

Thank god for that.Means we'll only have to deal with The lame fartson and co next season.Looks like the title will still be ours next season unless hearts make some big signings.

Is this because of the 'Le Guen Revolution'?

We won the league easily last year, what grounds are you basing the theory that the title will be yours??

took the words right out of my mouth mate. 1st off, the Larsson thing..publicity stunt.

2ndly. the McNammara debacle was a total shambles. what kind of message does that send out to players. at the end of the day he was just a commodity to trade. these executives talk about the lack of loyalty in the game, well they should try exercising some themselves.

true jedi knight, it sticks a bit in my throat to say it, but you're right there. Loyalty is a rarity in football today, but the players can't be slated for not having any when this is what happens when they do.

May have been a publicity stunt but after hearing the possibility that Larsson could re-join Celtic it wasn't just Jimmy Calderwoods kin that was brown

yes, its called evoulution, and not for the better! football will become so elitist that the normal working man will not be able to afford to go to a game! i believe their will be 1 or 2 massive commercial leagues in europe and like the uefa cup, our leagues will become diluted! though it might be a good thing to start again,as passion grows once more! money corrupts full stop!
