Not convinced by this one, where are we going to play him? he played at left back for Man U because they needed him to. I dont think he will be happy playing there for Celtic, and i would'nt drop lennon, keane, maloney or naka. I think he will add to the wage bill and not really add value for money.

I take your point but we will need more players that have CL experience so that we can rotate the squad and keep players fresh for league duty.

In previous campaigns we have sadly lacking in any cover meaning the 1st team players are very tired.

We lost points in many games before and I don't think that we can afford that this season as there will be a strong challenge for the league from Hearts and Rangers.

I don't think so.

He was always a fringe player at Man Utd. He's not as good as Giggs or Ronaldo so the team would look weaker with him.

He'll be good in the SPL.

Yes, I agree with you - he may be rubbish for Man Utd but Celtic are not as good and he should do well if he can adjust to the game here.

not convinced by utility players. worries me that he's never had a definite postion. what will he bring to the team? does Strachan have a postion earmarked for him? or are we prepared to pay a jack of all trades 20/30k a week just to fill in the gaps?
