Dons players in crash

Aberdeen stars Jamie Smith and Michael Hart were lucky to escape with minor bruises after a terrifying car crash on the club's Egyptian tour.

The players were out shopping in Alexandria when their chauffeurdriven limo was involved in a smash with a minibus.

The car spun out of control and almost hit several other vehicles but Hart and Smith walked away.

Hart blamed the limo driver for the crash. He said: "The idiot decided to turn and cross five lanes while he was on his mobile. The minibus just wiped us out."

Smith said: "My head's a bit sore but these things happen in Egypt."

Aberdeen players in a chauffeur driven limo. That's a surprise given the club took their toaster away to cut back on expenditure.
