would Celtic fans welcome Liam Miller back?

Now apparently the Mancs are looking to offload Liam Miller for a reasonable price. Would Celtic supporters take him back to Celtic? this question may sound like an obvious no however i think there are some factors that should be looked at.

Obviously the split left a bad taste in the mouths of Celtic because he was quite sly. However we have to look at Man u's part in that. He was also still a young guy and can you imagine some of the promises that sir alex was offering here?

Now do you remember the potential he showed at Celtic, this guy was good, in the leaugue and in europe. If we do lose stan Miller could come back and take his place.

Forgot about Miller, why would we want this guy back?

Injury prone, money grabber and the way he treated us when he left.

the thing is.. liam muiller is a class player. We saw what he can do in the champions league, and now we could get him back on the cheap. I know he left in shady circumstances but if we have to lose petrov we might as well have some cover and we know Miller can handle it at Celtic.

He would be the one player I would not welcome back. We had shown so much faith in him, spent so much money developing him and he slaps us in the face as soon as a big club makes a move?

We offered him a big contract [putting him on a par with Petrov at the time] but he chased the money at Man Utd.

We have plenty of other youth players desperate to break through, let's give these guys a chance before Miller.
