La Liga week 23

Sevilla moved back on level terms with Barcelona at the top after goals from Freddie Kanute (2) & Daniel Alves gave them a 3-1 home win over Atletico Madrid.Barca lost 2-1 at Valencia who move into 3rd level on points with Real Madrid who drew 0-0 with Real Betis.

No team in Spain seems to be able to get a consistent run of results together at the moment so the title race is still wide open.

Top positions:
1st Barcelona 46 pts, 2nd Sevilla 46, 3rd Valencia 42, 4th Real Madrid 42.

It's all part of the excitement the fact anyone could win, rather than it being out of 1 or 2 obvious teams. The results can sometimes be quite unpredictable which is why it's appealing and entertaining.

I agree , do you follow any particular team in Spain ?,I have a soft spot for Deportivo la Coruña who unfortunately are having a bad season .

Do you think it will come down to the big 2 in the end or do you think Sevilla can win it?
