vCash: 500 | Was Alex Ferguson right to rest Ronaldo?? I mean just because he played 180minutes in 1 week dont mean he needed rest,i mean he could have put him in the bench just incase things went wrong.Specially having rooney sidelined you cant afford to rest your best player and ronaldo not having a injury should have been on the bench at least. If he really wanted to rest ronaldo then he should have rest him for the champions league game on tuesday cos man utd have already qualified. |

vCash: 500 | Apparently Ronaldo was injured, but Fergie tells us that after he gets slated for resting him. Typical. Ronaldo has that extra bit of spark and edge about him, especially when he's up against dirty. physical teams such as Bolton and to rest him was a real mistake. He could have made the difference, but what's done is done and Unoted need to look to the next game and win it if they're going to hit top form again. |

vCash: 465 | lets be honest you should be able to beat bolton with the players you had out there so stop looking for excuses, i wouldn't expect many people have got more right than saf over the years, what i'd be worried about is a seemingly lack of strength in your squad as it was a very poor performance and i don't think ronaldo would have made much difference Last edited by toonmagic9 : 11-29-2007 at 07:45 PM. |

vCash: 465 | not being funny but he was pretty ineffectual against arsenal and even when he scored he didn't seem to raise his game, we just have to accept our favourite star players are entitled to have an off day every now and again. |

vCash: 465 | liverpool rely on gerrard to inspire them and without seem a bit flat even though torres can turn a game, ronaldo can turn the game for utd but rooney is the heartbeat of the team like gerrard is for liverpool and sometimes when they don't play the rest of them don't raise their game for whatever reason |

vCash: 726 | they need to get over that hurdle. there has to be somebody else in the squad capable of leading a team on the pitch when your normal leader isn't available. furthermore, it should be up to the players, as professional footballers, to motivate themselves whatever the game is. if they need to rely on one player all the time, then they should look to themselves to fill the role when it's empty. |
