Anelka

nicolas anelka has looked very impressive.and when he will be getting good supplies from the coles and left phlips and robbens.
He didnt get much supplied passess at liverpool bolton etc
What do u think will he snatch the place of other strikers or will he be a bench filler

I think that depends on whether or not Drogba carries out his threat to leave in the summer.

he will be a bench-warmer due to the fact that drogba and kalou are in good form. but since its the African cup of nations, Anelka ad Pizarro should start

supposedly Lampard and Drogba will go to Barca, Nasri and Eto to come to the bridge. I doubt it though

i would be amazed if they let eto go as he would play much better with drogba and i suspect it will be ronaldhinio who is leaving as messi is already better

To answer the initial question, I would not put my money on Anelka. I even found his transfer fee overpriced!

I think Anelka will only remain at Chelsea for the rest of the season, then it's probably off to somewhere else again. I don't like seeing him in that uniform either.

i suspect chelsea are about the only club who can afford his wages and i would expect him to stay there for at least two seaons maybe more if there is the success of previous season

waaaay too many, eg Joe Cole, Ballack, Makelele, Alex, Shevchenko, Malouda etc on the bench!?!?! wtf, And they all only remained happy last season because of Mourinho's exceptional motivating skills, When push comes to shove I don't think Grant is the right man for Chelsea Tactically and Motivating players

i suspect there will be a small exodus of players from chelsea but i don't think anelka will be among them, i think the comments about grant are spot on as leaving your most creative player on the bench in joe cole for a major final is a bit strange, as it was a very lacklustre performance from chelsea, maybe the wheels are starting to come loose

Cole deserves starts but if he doesnt get em then he will move on to a mid table team like tottnehnm middlsebrough.

I think Cole would go to Madrid seen as they had some intent to sign him just a few seasons ago, Robben and Cole can work as we've seen

But they wont get regular playing time at real madrid
The best team for cole is a mid table team.
Where he can be the most skillfull player of ze team

i agree i would love him at the toon but judging by how many players leave newcastle due to family reasons and head south again i doubt we'd be that lucky

he's playing again thank god but i'd have cole in a free role behind the strikers causing the kind of mischief he did yesterday.
