Niemi to Fulham

Anti Niemi is expected to complete a shock move to Fulham in the next 24 hours.

What do you think? All of a bit sudden but i think Paul Smith is a great keeper and will do a good job for Soton.

Didnt show his class against the Dons though, Would be great to see Neimi back in the premiership. Thats where he deserves to be

Yeah ever since Van Der Sar left, you could tell it was a big loss .. Neimi in my opinion is a better keeper so he should help establish them as a top 10 side atleast

Fulham being in the top 10 reminds me of them a few seaons back when they did much better then they expected the last two seasons they have in fairness stuggled.

If they can ship up their defensive line as im sure they will do much better as i think they do have a decent strike force. Luis Boa Morte is key to them aswell i think if they are to sucssed.

I always rated Niemi in the highest regard, along with Cudinici and Richard Wright.

This is a good singing for FFC.

Niemi is quality and a steal at the price. Not long ago Scum and Man Utd were sniffing about. Fulham are building a very solid backbone.

Surley you should always build from the back. If your back line is strong with a good kepper then you have a much better chance to win those games 1 - 0 knowing your hard to concede against.

Raises morale. Deffinetly worth the money paid for him!

The way i see it, you just need to get one goal and that can come from anywhere e.g. defence, midfield but mainly the attackers. With neimi now he will add that extra quality to be able to help them keep a lead so a very wise move from Coleman. Like woolley said, building from the back is the way forward
