Seedorf wants Premier League move, but who would want him?

Having plied his trade for the past 16 seasons in Holland, Italy and France, the aging Dutch play maker is dying for a chance to join a Premier League club. It is apparent he will be one of the first of the more senior players to leave from the dream Ancelotti era which started to deteriorate with the departure of Paolo Maldini.
Who would Seedorf suit though? Which club would be prepared to pay a touted 5 million pounds for the 32-year-old?

Seedorf has been a great player , though he is probably now past his best , I am sure he has still got a couple of good years left in him.

I don't think the big 4 will go for him now , Man City seem to have plenty of money maybe he could help to push them on to the next level other clubs that might siut him could be Aston Villa or Spurs.

Seedorf put in some great performances last year. he's still got the work rate and the drive, even if he's not got the pace. same goes for Maldini, who's staying on for another year, by the way. i don't expect he'll play as big a role though.

seedorf is a legend in my book but does he still have the motivation to rock up to training every day specially in a new cold, rainy, smelly environment

I agree, I support Milan in Italian football. Seedorf used to play central midfield, he'd only be good as a roaming 'fantasista' behind the front two. Unfortunately in the premiership even strikers have to put in the workrate and he hasn't got the legs anymore in my opinion. Still wouldn't mind if Villa had him for a couple of seasons

At Tottenham we had Davids and he lifted and coached some of the younger players like Jenas, we fininshed 5th that season and Seedorf could do a similar role, however 5 million is a bit rich. I could see someone like Wigan or Hull benefitting but would he join. If he was more of a name then I could justify the fee ie a Beckham who would put bums in seats but no he isnt that although he is a decorated player.

he would be a decent signing for any of the lower half of the prem league but he has to be used correctly, if he hasn't got the pace anymore use him in the same way barry is used and alonso someone who can break play up and then use the ball intelligently, if newcastle could get him i would be reasonably pleased as it would help develop some of our youngsters and might actually make barton a decent player
