vCash: 500 | Robbie Keane is a red Robbie Keane has finally completed his move to Liverpool 14 years after turning down his boyhood heroes. I am very excited about this move (being a Liverpool fan) and I cant wait to see Robbie Keane and Fernando Torres rip up defences next season. It is finally after many years the number 7 and number 9 partnership. Liverpool for the title!! |

vCash: 379 | To be honest i'm suprised Liverpool payed so much for Keane i would say he is a good player but not a great player. Maybe i'll be proved wrong but I think Liverpool are still a long way behind United & Chelsea |

vCash: 500 | Totally agree, Keane has been a good player for Spurs but I just dont think Liverpool will win the Premier League under Benitez, the way they play just does not seem to work in the league, they do ok in europe though. Cant see beyond Man u or Chelsea and in my dreams spurs. |

vCash: 500 | Been a Liverpool fan myself im always honest about my team and how I think they will do. The transfer fee for Keane was high I agree with a lot of the above threads Keane is a good player but he aint a great player. The same been said really for Gareth Barry who we are interested in why sign a player what is no better than we already have. We need a quality winger to play on 1 of the flanks and im afraid Pennant and benayoun just aint good enough. Benitez dont make the quality impact signings that Man Utd and Chelsea make apart from Torres last season listed below are some of his signings. Voronin he is absolutely dire dont know what he was thinking Benayoun average player aint going to win you a league title Pennant paid well over the odds for him Crouch im disappointed to see him go dont think he had enough chances as is fair ammount of stick but to be fair he does get a goal here and there Kuyt works hard but for a striker where are his goals Lucas looks a good prospect but aint exactly an impact signing Luis Garcia he was a great champions league player was not suited to pace of premier league It dont fill you with much confidence going into the new season. Benitez is a great manager dont get me wrong however is record with cash im afraid it is a poor 1. We may have a good cup run but I think any Liverpool fan thinking we can go for the league is living in a dream world. shutyourzippy |

vCash: 465 | while liverpool won't win the league i certainly expect them to be a lot closer to manu and chelsea, there biggest problem seems to be the owners and this has affected there transfer budget, although i am suprised that more players haven't left fully expected pennant and benyaouin to be sold so they coud get barry even if i don't understand why they need him when they have mascherno and lucas which leaves gerrard to do what he does best further up the field. |
