not sure why he feels he needs to leave but i suppose european football is high on his list rather than anything else as he has as much chance of silverware at newcastle as i can't see any of the top four going after him.

Is he actually any good? I've never rarely seen him do anything of note. Also £12m for someone as average as him? No wonder managers buy abroad.

he is a good player and will certainly be missed, 12 mil does seem a lot esp as we got him for about a mill from leeds, his final ball needs some work but apart from that he's as good as bently imo
