Kuyt ruled out

Dirk Kuyt will miss Liverpool's next two games with an ankle injury sustained playing for Holland at the weekend.

Although a scan has revealed the injury is not as serious as first thought, strained ankle ligaments will keep him out of the home game with Blackburn on Saturday and next Wednesday's Champions League trip to Bordeaux.

Liverpool hope Kuyt may recover in time to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on October 22.

Disapointing for him as he was playing well for Liverpool. He will certainly be missed if he can't make the Man Utd game.

Whether or not he plays in the Man U game, we're going to win. We just can't afford to lose the no. 1 spot again. Yes, Fowler hadn't been in the starting lineup this season.

Benitez will be a bit miffed by that he was trying to get a front line of Bellamy and him to blend.

If he lose, he will had a hard time getting back the top position. Bcoz Chelski is facing a easy opponent- Reading this week.
