vCash: 500 | Henry fuming after dissalowed goal Arsenal striker Thierry Henry said he was "fuming" after having a late goal disallowed for handball in their 1-0 Champions League loss at CSKA Moscow. Henry said: "The referee saw a handball when there wasn't a handball. You will have to ask him why this is so. "He gave me a yellow for a deliberate handball but if you can see that on the replay I'll give you whatever you want. "I know it was a clean and clear goal. The keeper and defenders did not call it, only a linesman 60 yards away." News conference: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger Interview: Arsenal striker Thierry Henry He added: "I asked the referee and the linesman at the end what they saw and they could not tell me what they saw. We do not depend on decisions, we depend on our own quality of play Arsene Wenger "I was fuming, he should have given me a red card for deliberate handball, that would have been the cherry on the cake. "I just hope that what goes around comes around and it'll be our turn next time." Arsene Wenger also hit out at referee Manuel Enrique Mejuto Gonzalez after Henry's effort was ruled out. Wenger said: "The referee has not seen anything, I felt it was a goal. We have to accept sometimes that referees give goals because they do not see things. "Now we have something new - they cancel goals because they saw things which did not exist. That's a problem." Wenger, though, admitted his side had been outplayed for large spells of the match which saw CSKA knock Arsenal off the top of Group H in the Champions League. "We do not depend on decisions, we depend on our own quality of play," added Wenger. "Until they went 1-0 ahead, Moscow were sharper than us, winning more fights than us and finally got the advantage they deserved at that point of the game. "We tried to attack after that, and they defended in an intelligent way. "They got a bit of luck with their goal which, but overall they have shown great quality." Wenger believes the shoddy state of the playing surface at the Lokomotiv Stadium also did not help matters. He said: "We battled hard to come back, but as well the quality of the pitch was a handicap. "Uefa has to look into that because it is not acceptable that you play on pitches like that in the Champions League. "They deserve a much better pitch, and that can make them better." and this time this is true it was clearly not a handball and it clearly was a goal i was also fuming after i saw what the ref did and also well done to celtic very convincing win! |

vCash: 435 | it was a clear goal and there was no hand ball from the replay. Just wondering what the linesman saw. Some CSKA players were liked shocked a little while than relieved and happy after the decision. None of them protested though. GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED |

vCash: 500 | well now he knows what it feels like. Scottish clubs are subjected to these inconsistent and poor refereeing decisions all the time. If you can get it ,watch the UEFA cup final game again between Celtic and Porto and you'll see we had to endure freekicks being awarded against us for blatant dives for 120 mns |

vCash: 460 | Wibble wobble, did you see his bottom lip last night? Henry is my number one enemy, I can't stand the spoiled brat that he is. It is absolutely outragous that he did not get the goal but to be honest it was the best laugh I had last night. No dives to con referees when there was no foul, no falling over holding their face when they were struck on the chest to get an opponent sent off etc etc etc Get it right up you! Quote:

vCash: 500 | i got to say i wasnt happy but when i saw his face i did a bit of a giggle! but that was a goal and the referee should be punished for such a shoking result he just looked at the linesman to tell him what to do. Hes the man not the linesman! |

vCash: 435 | some reports said that Henry tried to discuss with ref after the game about the incident but the ref just shrugged him off. In the press conference, Henry said referees must be more friendly. We do see some friendly referees in the EPL. GLORY GLORY MANCHESTER UNITED |

I wish the refs in Scotland explained why they made a decision, after all the fans are paying money and not getting a fair deal. There was one ex-referee in Scotland that has come out and said that in the UK we don't give foreign referees enough respect when they come to visit, unlike our European counterparts. This may be part of the problem too | |

vCash: 500 | try watching a live live game game and call every decision and you will all be surprised at how many u get wrong. I haven't seen the 'said' incident but as i have said before, every team in the world falls foul of poor ref decisions. Personally Arsenal lost my sympathy because it happened to Henry who is no stranger to conning, cheating and badgering refs himself. he came across like a big baby who had thrown his toys out of the pram. He even insinuated that the ref cheated because Arsenal aren't one of Europe's elite clubs like Madrid etc... Who here agrees that Henry, despite being one of the world's best players, is a spoilt, arrogant little tit? anyone else? |

vCash: 500 | ah you speak of one incident. I'm talking about althrough his career. He is very gracious...when either Arsenal of France win but have you never noticed that it's always someone elses fault when he is on the losing side? Recent example, Scotland's victory over France. The guy actually had the balls to bemoan Scotland because " we didn't attempt to play football. We put everyone behind the ball, denying me space to play". Is this twat for real? We put the ball in the net u didn't Henry. There is your arrogance, he actually was bent out of shape because on paper France should beat us and didn't. A true competitor is gracious in defeat as well as victory.End of. Seriously, did he expect us not to play to our strengths and allow him space to tear us apart and score. I may be wrong but i thought it was about winning. What was the point he was trying to make. Instead of keeping his mouth shut he spat his dummy and ate sour grapes. |
