Pompey Gain 3

Pompey have completed the signings of Spurs trio Pedro Mendes, Sean Davis and Noe Paramot for 7.5m. As a spurs fan I'm fairly happy with this, but I wouldn't say Portsmouth have been ripped off.

Sean Davis, though prone to injuries, is a top class midfielder on his day, as is Mendes. And Paramot can do a job at the back at either RB or CB.

And of course the 7.5m doesn't go amiss, we're linked with Ianquita, and more suprisingly, alot of people have set we've made contact with Torres!

Mendess is pretty good in my view and like you said Davis is injury prone maybe he will put his injury woes behind him one day.

Good deal for Pompey to try and turn their season around!

Mendes is a great player.

Why did Spurs let him go?...

More of him wanting to leave then us wanting to let him go. He realised that he's not a first choice, and obviously a talented player like himself wanted first team football.

Which i definetly respect.

3 established premiership players for Pompey which will definetly boost their squad, some good work from Redknapp their, if they stay up this season i feel those 3 will have made alot of contribution to that

Vaz Te, Joey O'Brien, Nolan, Hunt, Haim, Fojut .. The futures bright, the futures Bolton Wanderers

Well yeah as he probably will be Mendes is the best out of the bunch because he hasnt just got back from long term injurys like Sean davis and Noe paramot. A very good passer of the ball so, good move from pompey there
