All time Premiership 11

Just wandering what your all time Prem 11 would be. Dont get me wrong, I aint one of these fans who thinks that football only existed from 92/93 but it is easier this way. I would suggest using either a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 formation.

Here is mine:

Schmichael

Neville-Desailly-S. Campbell-Irwin

Pires-Vieira-Keane-Giggs

Henry-Shearer

Subs: A. Cole, Gerrard, I Wright, Adams, Martyn

Remeber, this is just my opinion.

There may seem to be a Arsenal/Man Utd bias but as these are both by far the 2 most successfull teams since 1992, this is to be expected.

Please tell me if you disagree and who you would pick.

PS: I am well aware that Cantona is not there. Slightly over rated IMO. If he had Scholes' looks, would he have been spoken about half as much?

He was full of himself!

My selection:

Schmichael

Neville - Terry - Adams - Pearce

Keane - Viera - Zola

Henry - Shearer - Bergkamp

subs - Cantona, Seaman, Scholes, Giggs, Campbell, Irwin

The most difficult decision was between Cantona and Bergkamp, but Bergkamp edges it.

There could have been so many others added
Pires, Atkinson, Yorke, Cole, Beckham are other names that I pondered with.

There are loads of players I would like to have added but we cant play a 0-0-10 formation! Maybe I should have found a place for Zola and Bergkamp, I also tried not to play anyone out of position.

I should have put Adams in over Campbell. Desailly was there more to do with his whole career rather than what he achieved in the Prem.

Dalian Atkinson? Thats a name I aint heard in ages. Maybe it's better just to list say the 20 best players rather than as a formation as the best players tend to be wingers and strikers.

I pondered with all the same names you did. No offence to any supporters whose heros I left out.

Very hard there are so many good players
4-3-3
Schmichael
G.Neville Gallas Adams A.Cole

Gerrard Keane Giggs

Henry Cantona Zola

Subs, Cech, Viera, Lampard, Terry, Riise.

Despite what others have said I think Cantona cannot be left out because his impact on the premiership was so great, I know I have left out many great players but I tried to pick subs to cover all eventualities if one of my strikers were injured I would switch to 4-4-2.
