vCash: 500 | Freddy Adu and Man U...your thoughts? I think it's great that a US player is getting some exposure from a big name club in the Premiership. There have been US players in the Premiership in years past with modest success but the US media that covers soccer/football in the US have hyped it up a bit here. But it sounds like Ferguson isn't too keen on Adu and it's possible that the Glazers spearhead the effort for Adu to have a two week workout with Man U. Is this the Glazers attempt to bring a US player to Man U in order to help increase Man U's popularity in the US? I think so... |

vCash: 726 | i stand by what i said in this thread the EPL isn't right for a player in the position he's in right now. i'm inclined to agree more with this |

vCash: 500 | He's got a load of pressure if he comes to the squad when he's too young and it could backfire and make it hard for him, he may not like it or may do. It depends of his hunger to come. |

vCash: 726 | ...well, his club career started at DC United two years ago, so it's not really too big of an issue. no, because Fergie's knows enough about football by now not to make such a daft decision. it's wrong for the player, and thus it's wrong for the club paying his wages. to be honest, i wonder if the whole thing was partly Malcolm Glazer's idea. |

vCash: 500 | wouldn't doubt it. They own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL and my wife is a big fan of theres and she married an Oakland Raiders fan...so my dislike for the Glazers extends to their overseas clubs. |
