vCash: 500 | Michael Bridges Looks like Villa are goin the cheap way round in the market again trackin Micheal Bridges from Carlisle for £250,000 He basically promoted Sunderland on his own to the Premiership - but signed a pre contract with Leeds where he did ok scorin 15 goals but broke his leg and was out for a year and a half - come back and scored 4 more goals but was ended through another injury - this put him out for a further 6 months - he then went out on loan to Newcastle where he looked pretty sharp and scored a couple - he wass then given a free to Carlisle where he has been in good form I for one dont see this as a gamble @ £250,000 why not? sign the lad up he has goals in him - he shown it @ Sunderland and briefly @ his old clubs but was out for 2 years with injury - he is now back doin what he does best |

vCash: 500 | Well we had him for a 6month spell few years back and i dont mean to be critical but he doesnt have it anymore. There's a reason why he's been demoted through divisions in the last few years. Sunderland got him off their books to Bristol city and they did the same to Carlise. The lads doing alright there but i cant see him recapturing his youthful form which seen him as one of the biggest propsects of English football. |
