Aston Villa completed the signing of Ashley Young for an initial fee of 8 million today thats 2 great signings in as many days for MON .

It's certainly a surprise. I thought he would have cameh ere or to Man United but then he probably thought that he wouldn't have got first-team football. I think it was a wise decision to make and he is going to be playing under a great manager aswell.

It does seem to be a bit of a coup. I hope the price tag doesnt faze the boy or that there are any unfair expectations of him.

Carew is another great piece of business. He will score a lot of golas in the prem.

i think he is a good player dunno about 8 million for him tho i think thats abit over priced

Its in all the scottish papers today that Maloney is going from celtic to join MON at villa, it just depends if he comes now or at the end of season.

He's scored 1 goal so far for the club....
he scored 7 at Watford while he was there for the first half of the season...
anyone think he will score more than that in the second half at AV??
