How about this for an idea

Every week we spend 7 days building the best 11 (no subs) of every team since the Premiership started - each time employing a basic 4-4-2 -This week Arsenal

(Next week, Aston Villa)

Can we take it as done and dusted that Seaman is in goal?

I think so

What about the defence.... over to you

Adams is a certainty. He is a Highbury legend. I think Cashley Cole gets the Nod over Winterburn for me.

you'd be between Sol Cambell, Toure and Keown.

Personally I like Toure, but can you split up the adams/keown partnership. I would go for toure, great player.

You would think that deciding the Arsenal back 4 would be the easiest one here, But its apparently not. I wouldnt have Dixon or Cambell in there.

My Back 4 would be :

Lauren (at his peak) - Toure - Adams - Cole

I'd pick

Dixon---Bould---Adams----Winterburn

because as a unit they were so good ,I would go so far as to say collectively the best back four of all time.Though I could see a case for putting Sol Campbell in place of Bould but I suppose when we get to spurs Campbell may well be included in their team.

Not exactly a quick defense were they? Toure for Bould for more pace. Toure is also a better footballer IMHO. Not sure about Boulds scoring record though. Toure would possibly be better in that respect too.

got 2 have campbell in ith adamz. probably 2 greatest ever centre backs for arsenal. cole on left is a cert. dnt kno that many right backs for arsenal, but i kno that eboue is defientley not in this squad lol. have to be lauren at rb for me.
